I had never heard of this Alan Ritchson fellow until the clip started circulating. Apparently he’s the big, jacked guy who plays Jack Reacher on TV, the quiet, competent, unstoppable force who solves problems with fists and a thousand-yard stare.
So naturally I expected some gravel-voiced, measured outrage.
What I got instead was a grown man in an olive shirt, sitting in a soft white podcast chair, voice cracking into a high-pitched teenage-girl screech while his sneakers sat there completely untied like he’d just rolled out of a toddler’s playdate.
My Lord.
🚨BREAKING: President Trump could now sue actor Alan Ritchson into poverty for FALSELY claiming he’s a “f*cking rapist” & is “all up into 13-year-olds.”
Alan is doing everything he can to not be kicked out of Hollywood.
He NEEDS to be held accountable. pic.twitter.com/Ea9v26pvmZ

The Screech Heard Round the Podcast
On the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Ritchson decided the world needed to hear his thoughts on the Epstein files. What followed was not a coherent critique. It was a full-body meltdown complete with F-bombs flying like confetti, declarations that he is “a Christian,” and then immediately more F-bombs because, well, the situation makes him want to say them.
- He demanded the files.
- He called people pedophiles.
- He promised he would “railroad these fuckers” and produce the documents “in two seconds.”
- He told whoever is supposedly sitting on them to “bitch, move” and hand over the manila envelope.
And then, for the grand finale, he zeroed in on President Trump:
“That bitch has the keys to the nuclear codes. He’s, like, all up into 13-year-olds. Like, dude, what? Go to jail.”
All delivered at a volume and pitch that suggested someone had just taken away his favorite juice box.
Tough Guy Image, Soft Boy Reality
This is the same man Hollywood sells as the ultimate hard-ass. Six-foot-something of pure muscle. The guy who is supposed to walk into a room and make criminals rethink their life choices. And yet here he is, red-faced, gesturing wildly, voice climbing into the stratosphere, while his shoelaces flop around like sad little noodles.
One wonders if Reacher himself would pause mid-beatdown to carefully double-knot before continuing. Apparently not.
Alan Ritchson says people should “hold on” to their anger about oppressors like Trump and the Catholic Church “so somebody… wakes up in a pool of their own teeth and blood.”

Someone, and I’m looking directly at you, Kash Patel, might want to keep a close eye on this lunatic.
I get free speech. But we’ve seen enough Trump Derangement Syndrome cases lately where the ranting turns into people taking matters into their own hands. Actions have consequences.
Reading From the Hollywood Script
And let’s be honest about the substance. This wasn’t some carefully researched takedown. This was a man reading straight from the standard lefty liberal Hollywood script, the same recycled talking points that get you invited back to the right parties and keep the acting parts coming. No original thought required. Just hit the approved notes about Trump, scream a little, and cash the next check.
Look, demanding transparency on the Epstein files is fine. Plenty of people across the spectrum want the full, unredacted truth. But there is a difference between righteous anger and a public tantrum that makes you sound like you just discovered the concept of politics five minutes ago and decided the solution is to screech “go to jail” at the sitting President while your shoes are untied and your lines were clearly handed to you by the studio.
The Side Eye Closing Argument
The White House, for its part, calmly noted that Trump has already released thousands of pages, cooperated with Congress, signed transparency legislation, and been “totally exonerated” on anything relating to Epstein.
Ritchson’s response to reality appears to be more screeching.
Side Eye Media has a simple rule: if you’re going to play the tough-guy action hero, at least look the part. Tie your shoes. Lower your voice an octave. Maybe skip the part where the “Christian” actor turns a podcast into an R-rated toddler fit just to stay in Hollywood’s good graces.
Because right now the only thing this particular Reacher is reaching for is a timeout.
And possibly a pair of Velcro sneakers.
